Who is Chiara
I’m 21 years old italian girl with a passion for travel and adventure, outdoor activities, health & beauty, minimalism and more! I’m also a Communication and Media Studies student.
But let me tell you something more personal about me. I’m an all or nothing kind of person. I crave adrenaline and I try to push myself past my limits, especially when somebody tells me that I can’t do something. I’ve been to 16 countries so far (even if I wish they were more) and I’d be happy if I could share what I learn on my journeys, hopefully motivating you to travel or to experience something new. After all, life begins at the end of your comfort zone!
When I was younger I wanted to be an explorer and honestly, growing up nothing changed. Now I’m just surrounded by people who keep telling me how impossible that is, and, of course, I want to prove them wrong.
Now, some information you might actually interested in…
How I Started Blogging
The reason why I started this blog is because I love writing and sharing what I know and learn. Also, I wanted to practice my skills in a language that is not my first one. Also, since my field of study is Communication, I wanted to challenge myself with something related to it, and what’s better than keeping a blog about my passions!
How I Can Afford my Adventures
I mentioned above that I’m a student (that pays for her own instruction by the way), and that takes up a lot of my time. That means that I find hard to also have a stable job to support me and my travels.
Then you might be wondering: how I do it? Well… I live with my family, so they host me and feed me, and I do small one time jobs here and there. It’s hard and my life has a very tight schedule. I wake up, study, follow my courses, work on my blog and social media, go to sleep (I also go out with my friends and boyfriend…I’m not a hermit).
I’m also a minimalist, which really helps me save money. If you don’t know what minimalism is, basically I don’t buy anything unless I really need it. I don’t usually eat out and I go to the hairdresser all too rarely, but as long as I don’t look like a homeless it’s fine.
Why I Do It
I love travelling of course, otherwise I wouldn’t spend my money and time on it! Experiencing new cultures and learning something from them makes me the the happiest girl alive. But what I love even more, is sharing my experiences, possibly helping others in the process.
Hope you enjoy my posts and feel free to ask me anything.
Happy adventures and safe travels!
